Dreams

 She entered the room, quietly padding to his bedside as he lay soundly 
sleeping.  
Her long crimson gown swept the floor as she moved lithe and silent to his side. 
Slowly she drew a faint line along the inner softness of his elbow, smiling down 
on him as she watched his chest rise and fall with his shallow breaths. It was 
only a few moments that she had lingered there, but it had seemed like hours. He

Both breathed a contented sigh and laughed together nuzzling each others neck 
one last
time before wilting as one and dozing off into their dreams.
